CAREER PATH
Savannah Ojeda
I graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice Sciences and a minor in Political Science. I then completed an internship on patrol with the Galesburg Police Department before relocating to Florida. Since moving to Florida, I have held numerous jobs in the criminal justice field but in my current role I work as a Public Safety Telecommunicator for the 15th largest sheriff's office in the country. I also decided to continue my education and will be graduating from the University of South Florida with a M.S. in Cybercrime in May of 2021. I am hopeful that obtaining my M.S. degree will open the door to new opportunities and I plan to soon transition into an investigative or intel role with my current agency.
