CAREER PATH

Joie Vittetow

In eighth grade, I went to do two job shadows. This is when I really set my mind that I wanted to be in the technology related field, better yet, an engineer! In high school, I took the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) classes that was offered and was on the Winnovation Robotics team. I have graduated from Rock Valley College with an Associate’s degree in Engineering Science in 2019. I had the opportunity to be the coach of Montessori FLL Robotics Team in 2020. Currently, I am a senior at Northern Illinois University through the Rock Valley College engineering program to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am at TAC Rockford (2019-2021). Soon I will be working at a new internship at Collin's Aerospace in Rockford (2021)!
