Summer Field
Because of the opportunities Byron High School provided me, I knew exactly what career path I wanted to pursue after graduating high school. After high school, I attended Rock Valley College and earned my Associate's in Science. Then I transferred to Southern Illinois University and earned my Bache lor’s degree in Horticulture. After graduation, I was offered a job at Spring Meadow Nursery to be an Assistant Propagation Manager. Spring Meadow is known as a word-wide leader in the flowering shrub genetics and plant breeding. We travel the world in search of new plants for the Proven Winners plant brand and has built a reputation of introducing outstanding new plants to the nursery and landscape industry.
