Madison Randall

Graduated from Lockport Township High School where I attended Wilco to obtain my CNA certification. Attended college at the University of St. Francis where I obtained my BSN in nursing. I previously worked at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago as a complex medical rehabilitation nurse where I cared for complex medical patients during their rehabilitation after heart and lung transplants, strokes, spinal cord injuries and other complex illnesses. Currently, I am a registered nurse at Advocate Christ Medical Center and I am employed in the Cardiac ICU and step down unit where I take care of patients after cardiac surgeries such as open heart, ecmo, TAVR, heart transplants and LVAD. I am a charge nurse and preceptor as well!

My advice is to continue on wanting to learn new things that will help you become better at your job. It starts with something small, such as when I took a course in high school to become a CNA, but by having a drive to want to learn and a grow it can turn into so much more! .

My CNA skills which I learned while at WILCO have always given me a jump start in the medical field. I appreciate and acknowledge the importance of basic care for my patients and it really assists me to provide the best for my patients throughout their entire stay in the hospital!
