CAREER PATH
I obtained my CNA from this course. I worked at a local nursing home until I finished high school. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Anderson University in 2013 and started working as an RN. I got my first job on an inpatient surgical unit. Since then I have obtained experience in the OR, Labor and Delivery, Vascular Surgery, and Geriatrics. In August 2020, I graduated with my Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner. I accepted a job as a Nurse Practitioner at Community Health Network in Anderson, IN. I start there in March 2021. I am very excited to start this next chapter and owe a huge thanks for this program giving me a strong foundation to my career in healthcare.

Health Sciences and Technology
The class that I took in high school built a strong foundation of basic skills needed to serve in healthcare. It gave me an opportunity to develop my communication skills and gain confidence in myself as I interacted with patients. This class helped me realize this was my true passion in life.
