Listen to the teacher, they were once in the restaurant/food business and know what requirements and skills it takes to be a part of the business. Participate in labs, events in and out of school and field trips. You can learn a lot from doing events and they are fun to do!

HOW HAS CTE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE/CAREER?
Cooking in and out of school was fun, I enjoyed it and made me want to keep pursuing to be in the restaurant business. Doing events in/out of school were experiences that taught me key pointers in how a kitchen runs to be a successful business.
