I completely 2 years at Joliet Junior College and received an Associate ’ s Degree in Science. After that I completed 2.5 years at Illinois State University receiving a Bachelor ’ s in Science and an endorsement in special education preschool.

My advice would be to do the things you like and are interested in. High school is a time to learn what you are good at and what inspires you. Also, do not be afraid to try something new!

Human and Public Services

Participating in the ECE program allowed me to get first hand experience in a classroom. I was able to collaborate and learn from educators in the field. I also was able to create and implement some of my own lessons to learn how and what needed to be done in a classroom.
